Privacy Policy

Endleaf is built to collect nothing about you. This policy explains, in plain language, what that means and the few third parties involved when you choose to sync, look up a book, or subscribe.

The short version

Endleaf does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Your library, ratings, reviews, notes, quotes, and reading sessions live on your device. There is no Endleaf account and no Endleaf server that holds your reading data. Our App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."

Data stored on your device

Everything you create in Endleaf is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device database. If you have iCloud enabled, Apple syncs this data to your other devices through your own private iCloud account. We cannot see it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Book lookups

When you search for a book or scan a barcode, Endleaf sends only the title, author, or ISBN you are looking up to free public catalogs (Google Books and Open Library) to fetch details and a cover. These requests do not include any account, name, or identifier, and we do not store them. Covers are cached on your device.

Subscriptions

If you buy Premium, the purchase is handled by Apple. We use a subscription management service to read whether your subscription is active. It receives only the subscription state needed to unlock features, never your reading data. Payment details are handled by Apple and are never seen by us.

What we do not do

• We do not show ads or work with ad networks.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data.
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We do not track you across apps or websites.

Your rights

Because your data stays on your device, you are in control of it. You can export your entire library as JSON or CSV at any time, and you can delete any book, or the app itself, to remove the data. If you have questions, contact us at hello@getendleaf.com.

Children

Endleaf is a general-audience reading tracker and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version here. Material changes will be noted in the app or on this page.
